About 2 months ago we started the “I chew anything and everything that is in front of me” phase. Teething is not fun and it always comes with lots of drooling and chewing. Both of my babies have gone through a chewing phase that lasted months. I think pretty much their first year of life all they did was chew toys.
When it comes to toys that go into their mouths I’m very picky. I want to make sure my baby is only chewing toys that are non-toxic and that won’t leach any chemicals in their little bodies. These toys are usually a little more expensive than the plastic ones but luckily they hold up very well. I saved all the toys we used with our first born and now my second baby is putting them to the test. I’m really happy they have held up so well but even more happy that they are non-toxic.
Luckily we haven’t had to use any medication when teething, but the few times my babies were really fussy we used Boiron Camilia Teething Relief and Earth’s Best Organic Teething Gel. We also froze wash cloths for them to chew and made breastmilk frozen pops to alleviate the symptoms of teething. Along with these and the chewing toys we made it through the teething phase with my first and now that I have another baby we’re doing the same.
Here is the list of our favorite teething/chewing toys:
After writing this post I discovered some natural rubber teething toys that my baby is obsessed with. These are now her favorite and we take them everywhere so I had to share them with you:
Well there you have it – all of our favorite teething toys! What I love about them is that they’re small enough to carry in my diaper. I usually keep some at home, in my diaper bag and in the car so I always have some handy.
If you don’t like these you can always find more non-toxic toys by these brands: Haba, Plan Toys, Green Toys, Apple Park and Under the Nile.
Tip: If you’re going out to eat or out and about try these so the toys don’t fall on the ground.
What’s your baby’s favorite teething toy?

I have been looking for any products for teething nowadays as my baby starts showing some symptoms as she always bite anything that she holds. I was bit anxious everytime I see her doing like that as I am not quite sure if biting toys and even her fingers is clean as I notice it late everytime. Good thing that you have shared with me some products that might help her everytime she tries to bit something and this is quite stylish. May I know how can I purchase this kind of teething product? I am looking forward to hear from your response.

You can click on the picture or the name of the toy you like and it will take you to amazon – where you can buy it. 🙂

Hi! Do you have any safe recommendations for teething rings that will get cold in the freezer? Thanks for your help! This list is fantastic.

Hello mama! I personally use frozen washcloths or frozen breastmilk in the moo-moo feeder or a silicone feeder. However, you can try this toy: http://amzn.to/2cBbx9i. It’s BPA- and PVC-free.
