Last year I was invited to Social Media on the sand, a blogging conference that takes place at a Beaches Resorts. I had heard great things about it and was so excited that I was lucky enough to get invited since this is an invite-only conference. The conference would take place at the Beaches Resort in Negril, Jamaica. It was our first time in Jamaica and at a Beaches Resorts.
We love traveling and have done quite a bit of traveling. I knew we were going to have a good time but what we experienced blew our minds away. It was such a unique and extraordinary experience that my 3 year old still talks about it every day and keeps asking us to take her back. This 3 year old has been to Costa Rica (many times), Belgium, Spain, Netherlands and all over the US, yet it was Beaches Resorts the place that caused a long lasting impression on her.

I have to be honest, I wasn’t a big believer that all-inclusive resorts were worth the money and the few that I went to were okay but nothing out of the ordinary. They were a nice hotel with meals and drink included, usually a nice pool and some activities included. Although we had a good time I rarely thought the money we paid was worth the experience and food.
We were lucky to have been invited to Social Media on the Sand conference because we paid a discounted rate for our stay. Had we not been invited we probably would have never gone a to Beaches Resorts but now that we know what it’s all about we would go back, paying full price. It is seriously that amazing!
Beaches Resorts is not like any other resort. They have thought of everything you need to have a perfect family vacation and turned it into reality. Just check out their list of activities, by the way, they are all included in the price you pay making the experience that much better. If you were to pay for these activities during your vacation, you would end up paying a hefty price.
It’s great that once you pay for you vacation at Beaches Resorts you know you won’t need to spend any more money, unless you decide to go shopping or leave the resort. Although I don’t know why anyone would leave the resort. If anything, you’ll want to stay longer.
What I love about Beaches, and what made it such a unique experience is that there was something for everyone. There are all sorts of activities to enjoy with your kids, even the youngest ones. My kids were 1 and 3 when we went to Beaches Negril and they had lots of fun at the pools, playground, beach and of course with the Sesame Street gang. Yes, the Sesame Street gang lives at Beaches Resorts and has activities all throughout the week. You will spot them walking around a pool, or playing with the kids in day care or performing st night for the kids.
While your kids are having a fantastic time at the resort, so are the adults. One of the things I loved the most is that we put our kids the Kids Camp (it’s like daycare) and got to have fun as a couple.
We have never been able to do this on any other vacation because we don’t trust babysitters out of town but since the Kids Camp is right on site and you can stop by anytime and leave the kids for as short or as long as you want, it made it really easy to drop them off and have some couple time. We don’t get many moments like these so it’s nice that we got to fall in love all over again while enjoying a family vacation. It was like a honeymoon but with kids!
We ended every night eating an amazing family dinner but had we wanted to have a dinner date, just the two of us, we could have. And this is why the resort is fantastic, both kids and parents have a great time, together, apart and then together again. We felt so much closer as a family too because we got to do incredible things like go on a glass boat tour where our kids experienced for the first time seeing fish swimming in the ocean.
It’s almost hard to describe in words how wonderful everything is but if you’re wondering if paying for Beaches Resorts is worth the money, it is. It is worth every single penny and you will leave wanting to go back immediately. I assure you, you won’t even regret spending your money on this vacation. You will actually start planning when you’ll be going back again even before this trip is over.
We loved it so much we even convinced the grandparents to tag along next time with us. I can’t wait to see my parents and in laws playing with the kids and creating long lasting memories. I know it will be an unforgettable vacation and one that we will cherish for a long time.

It’s been now several months since we went and my 3 year old keep asking us to take her back. There have been days where she packs her suitcase and tells me if can go to the airport now. Seeing how much she loved it and how it made us even closer as a family is what an all-inclusive resort should be about, what Beaches Resorts is about.
Our time was there was so amazing it caused a lasting impression on our kids and of course on us. I can understand why during our stay we met people that have been vacationing to Beaches Resorts for years. All it takes is for you to go once to realize how amazing it is.
If you ask me if Beaches Resorts is worth the money? It really is! Plus once you add up all you’re getting on this vacation: amazing food, fancy desserts, cappuccinos every day, tons of outdoor activities, shows, water sports, land sports, and all it has to offer, you will actually realize you’re saving money by booking this luxury all-inclusive.
So, are you now convinced that you should take your family to Beaches Resorts? If so, I want to hear all about it. I know you will just love it as much as we did!
