We are off to Jamaica, mon!
I am so excited to share with you that we are going to the all-inclusive Beaches Resorts in Negril, Jamaica. I’ve never been to Jamaica before nor to such a fancy resort so you can imagine how excited I am!
This is no ordinary vacation and it’s more than a family trip. We are going because I was invited to an invite-only, exclusive, blogging conference called Social Media on the Sand, also knows as #BeachesMoms. I had been dreaming about going to this conference since I first heard about it and my dreams came true!
What is Social Media on the Sand?
Beaches Resorts Social Media on the Sand is an invitation-only social media conference hosted by Beaches Resorts. Through the weekend, attendees sharpen their social media skills during this immersive and completely unique event through inspiring and empowering sessions, while connecting in the Caribbean and creating unforgettable memories amid an incredibly beautiful island setting.
Attendees will enjoy all that the resort has to offer. Spread out over a lushly landscaped 20 acres on the widest stretch of Negril’s 7-mile Beach, Beaches Negril epitomizes paradise with spectacular gardens beside the sea, a sprawling Pirates Island waterpark, and plenty of activities and amenities for the whole family.
Social Media on the Sand is held every year at one of the Beaches Resorts. What I love about this is that I’ll get to meet fellow bloggers, learn more about blogging and the best part is that I get to bring my family with me! It’s one of the few blogging conferences that it’s both for bloggers and their family members so I’m really excited about sharing this experience with my husband and my kids.
It is also my first time going to such an amazing resort! I cannot get over everything they have to offer.
I am beyond thrilled of all the things my kids will be experiencing for the first time: a waterpark, amazing food, tons of water sports and meeting the Sesame Street gang. My girls are even going to share breakfast with them, bake cookies with the Cookie Monster and hopefully get tucked into bed by one of the Sesame Street characters. My 3 year old is very much aware of this trip and has been talking about it for a few months now. I cannot wait to see the excitement on their faces!
Since it’s my first time going I don’t know what to expect but I know it will be amazing from what I’ve seen shared in the past. Plus the conference partners have already been pampering us by sending us amazing gifts:
Social Media on the Sand this year is officially held from October, 26th to October 30th (2016). Follow along the #BeachesMoms hashtag on social media to find out what all the attendants are doing.
If you’re a blogger reading this and are wondering what Social Media on the Sand is all about you can find all the information on this link.
I can’t wait to come back and share with you about our experience and all I’ll learned. Stay tuned!
