You wake up early one morning and you feel like eating something different for breakfast. Something delicious that won’t require too much prepping because you’re so tired. You can’t think of anything and you end up having your usual breakfast.
Has this happened to you before? It sure has happened to me and that’s why today I want to show you a breakfast recipe you will love and one that is ready in just a few minutes – Peaches and Cream Quinoa.
But this is not a regular quinoa recipe that takes forever to cook because we’re making this recipe using an Instant Pot. In case you haven’t heard, the Instant Pot is a 7 in 1 appliance: Pressure Cooker, Slow Cooker, Rice Cooker, Steamer, Sauté, Yogurt Marker and Warmer all in one.
I have a love affair with my Instant Pot. How can you not love an appliance where you can put in frozen meat and have a meal ready in less than 30 minutes, without you having to worry about burning it?
The Instant Pot it’s just amazing because it cooks to perfection and saves you so much time in the kitchen. It’s a must-have, especially if you’re a mom! Hint: Prime Day 2017 is happening soon and they almost always have an amazing Instant Pot deal, so make sure you’re an Amazon Prime member to take advantage of the deal.
I have been experimenting with different recipes and types of grains in the Instant Pot. I love cooking grains and beans in it because they are ready in just a few minutes. No more waiting for hours to eat a meal!
Recently we’ve been eating more quinoa but I was having a hard time making it tasty for my kids. That is, until we made this delicious Peaches and Cream Quinoa in our Instant Pot. It tastes so good and it makes a great breakfast food. I promise your kids are bound to love it and so will you.
You can even make a big batch and freeze it – thaw it on those days when you’re wondering what to have for breakfast!
Okay, enough Instant Pot praising. Let’s get onto the good stuff – this amazing recipe!

Mine looks nothing like yours? Wondering if I did something wrong. Mine looks more like oatmeal. I know that it is supposed to be like oatmeal, but yours looks totally different LOL

Ty for the recipe… it’s not just you but it seems like most of the IP recipes I find on these blogging type of sites do not mention the # of servings… why is that? My quinoa pkg says 1 serving is 1/4 cup. So would you say this recipe serves 8?

Sorry Ann! It’s probably because a lot of us are not professional chefs but just sharing recipes our families love. 🙂
I make this for my family of 4 and we always have leftover so 8 sounds about right.
