We love all things Disney! I grew up watching Disney movies and now that I have 2 young kids Disney is all over our home.
As a mom of two little girls, I love that Disney has so many movies with strong female leads. My girls’ favorite movies are Frozen and Moana, of course. We have seem them countless of times. So much that I can even sing to you the entire soundtrack for both movies!
When I saw the preview for their official site here I knew we had to take the girls since Moana was one of the main parts of this show.
We were lucky that we got free tickets to attend this show since I’m a Feld entertainment ambassador and this also meant we got to attend the media event before the show.
The media event was amazing because we got to meet Rapunzel. My 4 year old was so excited that when she saw her she literally fell off the chair that she was sitting on.
Then we got to attend the live show and it was even better than we expected. We’ve gone to several Disney on Ice shows but they amaze us every single time.
Here is why you should take your kids to see Disney on Ice presents Dare to Dream, even if you been to another Disney on Ice show.
Disney on Ice presents Dare to Dream review
The shows starts with ice skaters dancing to cheerful music and a fun presenter talking about the show. What I love the most is that throughout the show the little ones are inspired to dream and accomplish their goals. Hence the name “Dare to Dream”.
The first character we saw were Mickey and Minnie Mouse – the crowds cheered so much!
Beauty and the Beast then took the stage, even with Lumière and Cogsworth. It was such a beautiful performance, with plates and even some spoons dancing around. It made you feel like you were watching the movie, but in real life.
Disney’s famous Cinderella princess also made an appearance in her carriage. The kids were so excited to see her!
Rapunzel had one of the most amazing performances! In my own child’s words: “this is the most amazing flying in the world!”
Then there as a 15 minute break, which was great for my 2 year old to walk around a bit since she had been sitting for about an hour.
After we got back the most popular performances began. Kids knew the lyrics to every song and they cheered throughout the whole performances.
Frozen was the first act after the break. Elsa sang “Let it go” along with what sounded like every kid in the arena. The light effects were amazing!
We even got to see Olaf dancing!
Then the final presentation begun, what everyone came for: Moana! I had never heard so many kids screaming with excitement! The show began with the entire village dancing.
You see Moana and her grandma. It was beautiful!
The scenes are amazing, from the grandma “swimming” in the ocean to the shiny crab. Kids were screaming from excitement almost the entire time.
I absolutely love the light effect and all the props!
The show ended with all the characters coming out one last time to dance, skate and wave good-bye.
I think this has been my favorite Disney on Ice show by far because it was the message behind it was so inspiring but also because the performances were flawless.
If you’re thinking about taking your kids, you should! You won’t regret it! We took both our 2 year old and 4 year old and they enjoyed the show. My youngest even sat through the entire show, clapped and screamed with excitement.
Seeing your kids so happy and excited about seeing their favorite Disney characters is priceless. It’s such a fun magical night! We can’t wait to go again.
