I grew up in Costa Rica, where Halloween is not celebrated like in the US, but my parents would still get us all dressed up and we would go trick-or-treating. I’ve always had a sweet tooth so it was always a magical night for me because I was allowed to eat more than one candy!
Now that I have kids I enjoy Halloween so much, especially because I get to dress them up in very cute costumes. Plus the best part is that we end up using those costumes all year long for when we play make-believe.
As much as I’d love to say that I make my own Halloween costumes every year, I don’t. If I’m feeling crafty I’ll give it a go and other times I just end up buying them. I’ve found really good deals for kids’ Halloween costumes at Costco, Carter’s, Target and Amazon and I usually buy a few costumes after Halloween so we have a nice stash of dress up clothes for the year.
I know a lot of moms are a lot more talented than I am and when I see those homemade Halloween costumes I always wish I had made them myself. But even if you don’t consider yourself talented, there are many easy peasy Halloween costumes you can make for you baby or toddler.
Today I want to inspire you to try and make a Halloween costume for your little one with these awesome tutorials. To get the instructions on how to make them just click on the title below the image.
