Strawberry and chocolate. Chocolate and strawberry. It’s a classic combination! My girls are big, big fans of strawberries. And they love chocolate, of course! (Don’t we all??)
We came up with this Instant Pot Double Chocolate Strawberry Quick Oats recipe one day that my girls really wanted a sweet treat. I was thinking of a way to make a healthier treat and that’s when I thought about mixing oatmeal, chocolate and strawberries! And what better appliance to make this than the Instant Pot?
You know I love my Instant Pot and not just for dinner! My Instant Pot is seriously one of the best kitchen tools I own. I use it all the time, multiple times a week. It makes cooking so much easier and stress-free. You just need to gather all of your ingredients, pop them into the pot, set it and walk away!
Oatmeal is a great food option because it is nutritious, full of antioxidants and fiber, can help control blood sugar, and is very filling. Did you know oats contain manganese, magnesium, iron, zinc, folate, and vitamin D? And they have a large amount of beta-glucan, a soluble fiber. That, plus their 13 grams of protein per half cup will help keep you and your kids full and satisfied.
Add in a little chocolate and sliced strawberries and you got yourself a tasty, yet nutritious dessert! The best part is that this Instant Pot Double Chocolate Strawberry Quick Oats are super easy to throw together, ready in minutes, and very yummy!
