Christmas is by far my favorite time of year. I love everything about it: the decorations, getting together with family and friends, buying a Christmas tree and decorating it, the yummy food and of course, Santa. Which is why I’m happy to work with Portable North Pole (PNP) on this sponsored post!
I grew up receiving gifts from Santa himself! He came to our house every Christmas Eve and hand delivered our gifts. It was absolutely magical and Santa became such a huge part of my childhood. So, naturally when I had my kids I knew we would continue this tradition but I also wanted to do more than that and I wanted Santa to be part of Christmas for more than one night.
About 4 years ago a friend told me about the Portable North Pole. We got hooked right away! It makes Christmas even more magical and we have been using it ever since, so I’m really excited to partner with them for this post because everyone needs to know about their amazing personalized videos and calls. It’s like nothing I have ever seen before!
Portable North Pole (PNP) is a website and app where you can personalize calls and videos from Santa himself. The videos are out of this world – they’re so elaborate and well-made that there’s no doubt they’re filmed at the real The North Pole with a very real Santa.
They thought of everything! Santa has the perfect Santa voice and he even makes pauses when he speaks to give your kids a chance to talk back. There are elves, reindeers, workshops, gifts, toys, a huge library with a book of each child’s history, snow, decorations, all sorts of machinery to make toys, anything and everything Christmas.
Each video has a short story so the elves are a big part of it since they help Santa with everything. They’re actually kind of silly so your kids will be giggling lots when watching their personalized video.
They offer free videos or you can upgrade and get access to all of their videos. I think upgrading is worth it because you can personalize the premium videos and calls with more details, such as pictures, names, ages, toys they want, if they have been good or bad, a picture of your home, you can even customize Santa’s library with your own family names. It’s really really cool!
PNP has been spreading Christmas magic for 10 years now and I think that’s the reason their videos are so mind-blowing. They truly make Santa and the North Pole feel so real! The smile my child gets every time Santa says her name makes me love this app so much.
I have to confess that not only do I make videos for my kids, but I also make them for my parents and in-laws. Everyone is always so impressed at the details in each video and has a great time watching them!
If you haven’t tried PNP, you should do so right now! Seriously – you won’t regret it!

For me, the easiest way to use PNP is with the phone app. This way I can create videos on-the-go! It’s comes very handy when you’re a playdate and need to create videos from Santa for all your friends.
A really cool thing about PNP is that they have created a program called The Portable North Pole Children’s Hospital Program, which helps to put smiles on the faces of children in need of extra cheer. Whenever you purchase a personalized call or a personalized video message from Santa, a portion of the sale is donated to the participating children’s hospital closest to you.
Really cool things about the app:
- It has a Kids and a Parents Corner. The Parent’s Corner is password protected and you create all the calls and videos in that section. What’s great about this is that if your kids were to get a hold of the app all they can see is the kids section, which contains they videos you have already created.
- Both calls and videos are created within the app. The calls get made to any number you chose and the videos are played through the Kids Corner in the app.
- You can personalize the videos by adding your own photos. My kids get really excited when they see Santa has a picture of them so this is an incredible feature.
- There’s no limit to the amount of videos you can create (on the paid version).
- It has a section where you can chose the correct pronunciation of your child’s name. This is so important!
- Every year they release new videos so your kids can get new messages from Santa every year.
- You can customize the videos to reflect whatever it is they want to for Christmas.
Now let’s get into more details:
Personalized Calls from Santa:
You can customize all sorts of calls from Santa. I love the PNP Santa, his voice sounds so “Santa like”, if that’s even a thing, and it’s so particular that my kids recognize it as soon as he says “hello”.
To set up a call all you have to do is go to the call section, pick a type of call you want and follow the instructions on the screen.
Here are a few of the occasions you can have Santa call you:
The app then generates the call (this takes a few minutes). Once it’s ready you’ll be able to place the call or listen to it first.
When you place a call, it actually rings to the phone number you provide for them.
Personalized Videos from Santa:
I have to admit this is my favorite section! The workshops, elves, library, Santa and all the places shown on the videos are so beautiful and exactly how anyone would image Santa’s North Pole to be like.
You can chose from a great range of videos. Some are available closer to Christmas and other are available all year. You can easily see if they’re available or not:
You can also see a sneak preview of the video and a brief summary of what the video is about as well as the information you’ll have to enter:
The Christmas Eve video is a must! We watch every year Santa get ready to deliver all the gifts and when he waves good-bye to the kids and tells them he’s coming soon they get so excited. Seeing that happiness in their faces is so worth it!
It is really easy to customize the videos – all you have to do is follow the instructions on the screen. It takes about 1-2 minutes to set up the video and about 4-5 for the app to create it.
Once it’s ready, it shows up under “Santa’s messages” in the Kids Corner:
I usually just open the video for my kids so they don’t even see all the other videos that I already created for them.
There are lots of different videos but each one is so unique and they’re so mesmerizing that we just end up making every single video for our kids. We have seen so many of their videos over the last 4 years and have never been disappointed. Every single one blows our mind and gets my kids really excited about Santa and Christmas.
There’s something about seeing your kid’s face when Santa is talking directly to them!
Personalized messages with Plush Toys:
I discovered this year that you can buy plush toys that come with a personalized video!
Look how amazing they look in real life:
Official certificate from Santa:
If you want to make it official that your kid has been good this year, you can even download a certificate like this from their website and give it to your kid.
I’m a huge fan of the PNP app because they truly know to bring the Christmas magic right into your home with their personal, custom call and videos from Santa. I have never seen anything else like it and every single person I have showed it to it’s just as impressed about it as I am.
This is one of those things that everyone should try and since there’s a free video you can customize, why not give it a shot? Make one and see for yourself how magical they are – I bet you will be hooked just like us!
It is truly a great way to keep the Christmas magic alive, not only on Christmas day but throughout the year. It’s so exciting for the kids to see the “behind the scenes” at the North Pole and if your kid is having doubts if Santa is real, they will probably believe he’s real after watching those videos.
Even if you have older kids, they will enjoy the videos too because they’re so well made. My friends and I all make videos for each other from Santa – so it’s not only for the kiddos!
