After a bit of a break, The Mama Instincts Podcast is back! With my kids home off for the summer, I felt called to work less and spend more time focused on them. So, that’s what I did! But now school has started back again and I am excited to get back to sharing some lessons learned along my parenting journey with you.
As I have been on a journey of examining my life recently, I have really made some big changes. I am 100% in control of my life — not necessarily what happens but how I perceive things and react to them. Even our most difficult times can give us tools that we will use later in life and especially, with our children. Working on my mindset has helped me to become a better parent.
It’s easy to make life complicated but we can simplify and set boundaries. We can release things that don’t serve us. Focusing on enjoying the journey and things that bring you joy.
