We are in unprecedented times, we need to make this count.
The world feels like it’s slowly falling apart, we need to make this count.
Our future feels uncertain, we are being forced to live day by day, in the present moment and we need to make this count.
Millions of people will be financially affected by this, we need to make this count.
Households disrupted, routines disrupted, life disrupted, we need to make this count.
Children out of school, people without jobs, we need to make this count.
Social distancing, we need to make this count.
Empty shelves in stores, we need to make this count.
Lives lost, we need to make this count.
For the first time in modern history, humanity is forced to slow down and we are forced to look at ourselves, to look at our lives under a microscope.
We are realizing we are all connected. We are realizing society as we know is not working.
We are thinking of all the things we should have done, of all the things we did and the things we regret and all the what ifs.
We are scared and anxious about the future.
But, we are realizing what are the things that truly matter in life.
We are realizing who are the people who truly matter to us.
We are realizing we don’t like certain aspects of our lives.
We are wondering what would our lives would be like if we did things differently.
We are, maybe, realizing there might be an opportunity in all of this. An opportunity to hit the reset button in our lives and start over.
But start over with a head start and a clear vision of where we want to go, with full confidence in who we are.
We need to make this time mean something, we need to make this count.
If there was a time in your life where you could pivot, where you could go after your dreams and build a new life, the time is now.
We are given a chance to reset life as we know it.
We can live in fear and waste this time being sucked in by the uncertainty or we can take this opportunity to start making a map of what we want our lives to look like.
After all this done, we can’t go back to who we were. This is the time to change. This is the time to go within. This is the time to connect with ourselves, to connect with our intuition, to listen, and to start living our purpose.
If we go back to our lives, without making any changes, then all of this would feel even more painful. But if we use this opportunity to change our lives – for the better, to change our towns, to change our cities and collectively change our countries and our world, then all of this would have been worth it.
We need to make this count.
We need to make all this suffering, anxiety and fear mean something more than just that.
We need to use this experience to grow, to stop living in auto-pilot and start living the life we’ve always wanted to live.
How are you going to make this count?
