In March I had the honor to meet him and his wife, Martha, in person, and not only that but we actually had dinner at this house, which means I got to spend about 4 hours with him and his wife.
I have to admit I even cried a little while I was there. Why? Because when I became a mom and felt like I was the only one questioning things and practicing attachment parenting. It was his website and his work that made me realize I wasn’t crazy and that in fact, it was okay to follow my instincts when it came to parenting. I cried when I was thanking Martha for all their work because it changed my life.
I was able to thank him and Martha in person for all his knowledge, for being so outspoken and for inspiring so many moms like me. It was one of the best moments in my life!
Dr. Sears is just as nice in person as he seems online. He was so attentive when we spoke, remembered my name right off the bat and treated us like family. He’s such an amazing person that I cannot wait to share with you this interview.
