5 DIY Christmas gift ideas:
Homemade Sugar Scrub:
To make a sugar scrub all you need is sugar and a skin loving oil, like grapeseed oil, jojoba oil, olive oil, almond oil or avocado oil.
Mix:
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/4 cup of the oil of your choice
- Essential oils of your choice
The sugar scrub shouldn’t look dry nor be too wet. You can adjust your recipe by adding more sugar if it’s too wet or adding more oil if it’s too dry. Once you reached the desired consistency, add between 5-10 drops of the essential oil of your choice.

Cookie Mix in a Jar:
This is a great gift to give to a friend or a co-worker you barely know because who doesn’t love cookies?
How it works is that the jar contains all the dry ingredients and you attach a note with the instructions as well as any extra ingredients that have to be added, like eggs and butter. The great thing about this mix is that it has a long shelf life so the person won’t have to bake the cookies right away.
Plus you can create this layered look with any cookie recipe you want.

Hot Cocoa Christmas Ornament:
This gift is so easy to make that small children can make it under adult supervision! It’s also a very simple and affordable gift to make if you need to make a big batch. Click here for instructions on how to make the hot cocoa ornament.
Soap bar with crystal – pour and melt soap recipe
This is one of my favorite gifts to make and to gift to others. Everyone uses soap so this a gift that will get used and by customizing it, it gives it a nice personal touch!

How to make bath bombs:
Bath bombs are really simple to make, all you have to do is mix the ingredients and place them in a mold. However, bath bombs take anywhere between 1-2 day to completely dry. During this time you have to leave them in the mold.
Make this gift only if you have an extra 2 days before you have to gift it. You can also make one huge batch of bath bombs and have bath bombs ready to gift when needed since they have a shelf life of several months.
To make bath bombs you will need a bath bomb mold, but you can also use silicone molds.
To make bath bombs it’s best to follow instructions. Here are some ideas:
When I feel like changing things up, I follow the instructions of the first bath bomb recipe but skip the flowers and use other essential oils. My favorite combinations are vanilla and lavender and vanilla and orange.
